What to expect
A sound bath is a meditative experience where participants are “bathed” in sound waves produced by various instruments. You can lay on the ground, sit up in a chair or on the floor in a yoga position. Whatever is most comfortable for you is perfectly acceptable.
Sound baths often last 30-45 minutes, or more depending on the desire of the participants, and intention for the session.
No prior experience required
No prior experience with yoga, meditation, or sound therapy is required. Come with an open mind and willingness to relax and let go. Sound baths are suitable for both the novice and seasoned practitioner alike.
What you might experience
Different people react to sound baths differently. Some will fall asleep, and even snore. Others will be close their eyes, yet be fully present. Some people may have slight or more extensive reaction to the sound frequencies. Some people have profound reactions as the experience may surface memories or life challenges that may need resolved.
